Community programs and services are offered free
of charge and include:
Education and Prevention Programs
Teaching Communities to Keep Kids Safe
Child Find Ontario's education and prevention programs
are provided free of charge in your community, thanks
to the support and contributions of our volunteers,
partners, sponsors and donors.
Kidcheck / Fingerprint Program
Thousands of children are fingerprinted at "KidCheck
ID" sessions held throughout Ontario, annually.
Our friendly, trained and police-screened volunteers
conduct these free sessions. Child find Ontario does
not keep any of this information. This package is
kept on file by the legal parent/guardian to provide
details for the family and the police should a child
be reported missing.
Education and Community Outreach
Child Find Ontario staff and volunteers bring our
message of safety awareness to hundreds of community
events annually. They conduct street-proofing workshops
for students, parents, educators, community groups
and professionals. Instructive materials and videos
are provided to reinforce the messages of safety and
prevention.
Stay Alert, Stay Safe
Child Find Ontario is proud to provide the well known
and well respected “Stay Alert, Stay Safe”
program materials nationally. Hundreds of requests
come in from Police Services, Schools, Community Groups
and others for this popular program.
